Comparative analysis of solar air channels, Z-shaped obstacles added to improve flow structure

چکیده

This paper's numerical study, which applies the finite volume approach and SIMPLE algorithm, aims to dynamically analyze airflow through a channel with Z-obstacles. Three distinct models were used place Z-barriers inside channel. According Demartini et al.'s model (2004) as depicted in example A from present analysis, first Z-barrier (fin) is attached top wall (heated) second (baffle) bottom (insulated). The Z-barriers, on other hand, positioned same (in-line arrangement), either surface (two fins B) or baffles C). With help of these studies, fluid dynamics solar air collectors barriers will be better understood designed.
